When it comes to the Archibald Prize, I generally like two in every 50 or so paintings. That said, I really really like Tim Storrier by McLean Edwards:
Partly because is makes me think this jacket, being sold by Regal Beagle Vintage on Etsy, would be a really good idea
p.s. Is it a gabardine suit that Tim is wearing? As soon as I saw the painting, America by Simon and Garfunkle started playing in my head ("she said the man in the gabardine suit was a spy"). But now that we're here, at the end of all things, I guess I don't really know what a gabardine suit is. Am i just getting it mixed up with plaid?
p.p.s. Maybe "she said the man in the gaberdine suit was a spy"!! That's another thing all together!
